In support of sustainability and a greener campus, Syracuse University has worked with Centro to allow employees who currently use mass transit, as well as those looking at mass transit as an alternative means of transportation, to purchase bus passes pre-tax.
Passes are available at the Office of Parking and Transportation Services, 621 Skytop Road. As of Jan. 13, 2026, Cash Operations will no longer be selling Centro Bus Passes. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services to purchase passes.
Faculty and staff must show a valid SU I.D. to use the pre-tax payroll deductions option and must fill out an application to obtain a pass. Payment may also be made by credit card or check.

The costs of the passes are as follows:
$10.00 – 10 Ride Full Fare Local Pass
$12.00 – Max Pass – Unlimited Rides for 7 Consecutive Days
