Special Permit Applications

The following application request forms can be now found on MySlice, in the Parking and Transportation Services section of Employee Services:

  • Service/Delivery Permit Application
    • Temporary parking for lots more logistically convenient to main campus is accessed through the use of service and delivery permits.
    • Service Permit Pricing:
      • SERVICE I permits are valid in all lots except “Restricted” lots on space available basis. The permit is valid for more than two hours at a time. Must be approved by PTS Director and has limited availability. Not for all day, everyday parking.  Each service permit costs $415.
      • SERVICE II permits are valid in all lots except “Restricted” lots on a space available basis. The permit is valid for two hours at a time. Each service permit $315.
      • SERVICE III
        • Service III Permits are for perimeter campus lots to include Comstock , Irving and University Avenue Garages, as well as the Women’s Building South lot. The permit is limited to 2 hours. Each Service III Permit costs $100.00
        • Service Permits are not issued to individuals. Service Permits are sold to departments only, but are interchangeable between staff members within the department. Service permits are to be used for University business not personal convenience. Service permits are valid on a space available basis, and availability is determined by the lot attendant on duty. If you need to park in a lot for more than the two hours offered by the Service II and III Permits, please contact the office to make other arrangements.
        • Service permits are never valid in gated areas, cone spaces, “R” lots, fire lanes, reserved spaces for persons with disabilities, loading zones, metered spaces or any other area posted as “NO PARKING.” Service permits are not valid with a Comstock Ave (formally Manley North), Colvin Street (formally Manley South) home lot or a student permit. Service permits are not valid during Dome events unless specifically stated on the permit.
        • Delivery permits are available for a fee of $42.00, but must be requested on the above application. They are available to campus departments that can demonstrate and verify a specific need for special parking. These permits are valid for a maximum of 30 minutes. Please request delivery permits on the Service Permit Application. These permits are not valid during Dome events.
        • Parking and Transportation Services also reserves the right to revoke service and delivery permits when privileges are abused.
        • Please Note: Service permits are only allowed on a space available basis.
