Guest and Visitor Privileges: Students living in residence halls and South Campus apartments may have guests and visitors in their residential facility. Guests are individuals affiliated with Syracuse University (e.g., other Syracuse University students) and SUNY ESF students. Visitors are individuals external to Syracuse University, such as a parent, family, or friend. Pre-registration is required for all minor visitors (age 16 and 17). To complete the guest registration process, please visit the guest registration page on the Office of Student Living website.
If you need to purchase a guest parking pass for your visitor after completing the guest registration process, bring the following to the Office of Parking and Transportation Services:
- Guest license plate number
- Make, model and, color of vehicle
Permits may be purchased with check or credit card for Colvin Street and South Campus lots at a cost of $6 per day or some Main Campus lots at a cost of $9 per day, depending upon space constraints. On event days, game day parking rates apply to guest permits.
Students without the correct printout and/or without the appropriate vehicle information will not be able to purchase a permit.
