As we make preparations for students, faculty, and staff to return to campus, we would like to make you aware of changes that are forthcoming for the fall semester:
- Due to the need for social distancing, additional buses will be made available during peak times to/from all North Campus and near campus areas including, Skytop, South Campus, Manley, and East Campus areas.
- Based on past ridership studies, Centro will be making the following changes:
- The fare free zone area will change. With the exception of riders on the Connective Corridor route, all riders using Centro service beyond the fare free zone area will be required to pay for service.
- Nob Hill service beyond the intersection of Ainsley Ave. and East Brighton Avenue will no longer be part of the fare free travel zone.
- Centro will continue to offer James Street service and service beyond the intersection of Westcott Street and East Genesee Street will no longer be part of the fare free travel zone. Additionally, direct service from James Street to North Campus will be discontinued. Riders will have to take the service to the downtown hub and transfer to the University.
