As you may be aware, Richard F. “Dick” MacPherson passed away earlier this week. To commemorate his life and contributions to the University, Syracuse University will host services at Hendricks Chapel on Thursday, August 10 and Friday, August 11. Because of his impact on the University and the surrounding community, we expect there to be significant attendance at the services.
As such, we are writing to notify you of some parking changes that will affect your ability to park in your home lot. The changes include:
- Starting at 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, we ask that you please move your vehicle to any other lot on campus except for the R lots.
- On Friday, August 11, the Q1 lot will be closed to all permit holders until 4 p.m. Again, we ask that you please use any of the other lots on campus except for the R lots.
