Beginning Saturday, July 21, through Monday, August 6, the entrance and exit of the Harrison Street side of the garage will be closed for maintenance. All permit holders and visitors are to use the Adams Street side of the garage instead.

Beginning Monday, June 25, through Wednesday, June 27, the outbound lane of Skytop Road will be closed for repair. There will be a detour set up via Farm Acre Drive to Lambreth Lane to Small Road and out to East Colvin Street to exit out of South campus. You will also be able to exit South Campus from the back of Skytop Road.

This project will not affect the inbound lane of Skytop Road.

The City of Syracuse will begin roadwork on Euclid Avenue that includes repaving, curb replacement and the creation of a dedicated bicycle lane. As a result of the traffic pattern change, vehicles heading north in campus outbound traffic on Euclid Avenue will no longer make a left turn on Comstock Avenue. Beginning Monday, June 18, Comstock Avenue will be closed from the Waverly Ave intersection north to the Booth Garage entrance. The remainder of the block north of the Booth Garage entrance will be temporarily converted to 2-way traffic to allow for uninterrupted access to the garage (to and from Marshall Street). The work is planned for completion by Monday, June 25, at which time traffic flow will return to normal. Use caution in the area and follow local signage.

Pedestrian pathways on adjacent sidewalks will not be impacted. The shuttle stop for the Quad shuttle has also been relocated during this period to the corner of Comstock Ave and Waverly Ave.

During the closure, the Office of Campus Planning, Design and Construction (CPDC), in partnership Physical Plant and the City of Syracuse, will be repairing a damaged section of sewer piping located under Comstock Avenue.

As mentioned in Pete Sala’s May Construction update, from Monday, May 14 through Monday, August 20, Sims Drive will be closed between Flanagan Gymnasium and Archbold Gymnasium. This closure is part of the utility construction work associated with the Archbold project. Please be sure to plan accordingly.
