2020 Spring Shuttle Schedules

Forestry Drive Closure for Thursday, October 31

Forestry Drive is presently closed to vehicle traffic.  We hope to have it reopened at approximately 10:00am

Please note that during this time the #SU443 Connective Corridor and the #SU43 Main Campus shuttles will be rerouted from College Place as follows:

Left on Euclid Avenue
Left on Comstock Avenue
Left on Waverly Avenue
Left on Irving Avenue
Right on Raynor Avenue to regular route

Parking Information for the Men’s Basketball Season

The following is a list of dates which Syracuse University men’s basketball games are scheduled to occur while classes are in session:

Tuesday, October 29 vs. Carleton
Wednesday, November 6 vs. Virginia
Wednesday, November 13 vs. Colgate
Wednesday, November 20 vs. Cornell
Tuesday, December 3 vs. Iowa
Wednesday, December 18 vs. Oakland
Wednesday, January 15 vs. Boston College
Tuesday, February 11 vs. NC State

ACCESS FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES

Home lot parking permits will be honored until four hours prior to tip-off. Access to campus for academic purposes for faculty and staff, with a valid University parking permit, will be provided in the following lots on a space available basis:

Comstock Avenue Garage
Ostrom Avenue Lot
Harrison Street Lot
University Avenue North Lot
University Avenue South Lot

NOTE: The garage will close one and a half hours after the event ends. If your parking needs are not met because of this, please contact our office.

Handicapped access for academic purposes will be provided in the lot designated on the face of the permit if space is available. If no spaces are available, permit holders will be directed to another location.

ACCESS FOR THOSE ATTENDING BASKETBALL GAMES

If you are attending a game on any of the above noted dates, your regular parking permit will be honored at the Manley North or South parking lots. Patrons will be transported to and from College Place. If you have a handicapped or medical permit, you may park in the Skytop lot and ride the shuttle bus, free of charge, to Gate A/Gate G.

We ask for your support of these procedures so that we may provide academic access for all of the University community. If you have any questions or need to coordinate additional academic access, please contact Dee Bailey at debailey@syr.edu or by phone at 315.443.5319.

Friday Night Football Game

Friday, October 18 vs. Pittsburgh at 7 p.m.

ATTENTION: On Friday, October 18, due to the football game, beginning at 3:30 p.m., additional buses will run between Skytop and College Place throughout the day and evening hours. The last bus returning to Skytop from Main Campus will leave from College Place at midnight.

Faculty and staff needing parking for academic reasons will be allowed to park in the University Avenue and Comstock Avenue (formerly Booth) Garages with their valid permits beginning at 3:30 p.m. All main campus lots will be restricted beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Students that normally park in the west campus and Manley lots will be redirected to Skytop beginning at 3:30 p.m. Parking and Transit Services will provide free transportation from Skytop to College Place.

Orange lots that are normally available for students’ use after 4 p.m. will also be restricted on Friday. These students will also be redirected to Skytop where additional transportation will be provided to College Place on main campus.

ESF faculty, staff, and students that normally use the west campus Standart St. West Lot (formerly Standart lot), will be redirected to Skytop beginning at 3:30 p.m. Free transportation will be provided to College Place on main campus.
