Faculty/Staff Permits

Faculty and staff will be notified annually by email when it is time to renew their permits.  Individuals are emailed in tiers in order not to overload the server with renewal requests.  Those renewing for the lot to which they are currently assigned, will be offered that same facility automatically.  To purchase your permit, log into your MySlice account and click on the Parking Services link.  Then click on “Purchase Permit” and select a lot – you can either have the lot you currently use, or you may select Manley or West campus (Manley is not an option for those who currently hold a PER, PPT, PTS or ODC permit). Next, select the vehicle you want attached to this permit.  You must read and check the “Rules and Regulations” box before you can proceed with your purchase.  You will then select a payment method for your permit – payroll deductions or credit card.  Follow the prompts until the checkout screen appears.  Complete the transaction by clicking on the “submit” button, and print the receipt that appears on your screen.  Your permit will be prepared and distributed via the method you chose.  The online renewal process is available until July31, 2009.  All faculty/staff permits purchased after this deadline must come to the office of Parking & Transit Services to purchase their permit.

Student Permits

Students will be contacted via email when they are eligible to purchase their permit for the next academic year – emails are usually sent around the 1st week of July.  Students are contacted by class standing, i.e., Graduate students, seniors, juniors, and then sophomores.  Space is distributed on a 1st come, 1st serve basis provided the housing criteria has been met.  Please refer to the online student application to view the criteria for each lot.  Under classmen will not be able to purchase a permit before their designated week – NO EXCEPTIONS.

Maymester and other special permits for Summer may be purchased after Commencement each year.  Currently, these permits are only available at the Office of Parking & Transit Services.  Please be sure to bring your SUID with you.
